Prevention or removal of microbes is THE critical factor for successful endodontic treatment. The microbial control phase of root canal treatment comprises instrumentation, irrigation and in appropriate cases intra-canal medications.
This talk will present the properties of the different irrigating solutions used, our irrigation sequence for each diagnostic category and the use of disinfection adjuncts.
